FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of acoustic control for continuous diagnostics of crusher state. Invention relates to method of passive acoustic control for continuous diagnostics of crusher condition. Method involves placing a microphone on the crusher body. Sound picked up from the microphone is amplified, passed through an analogue-to-digital converter, after which it is analyzed by a control computer. Computer software algorithm divides the obtained sound into different types. Method is based on features of crusher design, in which metal parts contact each other only through oil lubricant or through sealing elements. Type of sound signal of metal impact directly on metal is characterized by high amplitude, is uncharacteristic for normal operation, and is accurately recorded by the control computer. Such sound signals about ingress of non-crushed body into unloading gap, unbalance of fasteners, violation of integrity of structural elements and similar emergency situations. Based on the obtained sound diagram, the crusher operator makes a decision on further actions.
EFFECT: possibility of remote and constant acoustic monitoring of crusher condition, simplicity of implementation and expansion of application area.
