FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to means of crushing and milling of various materials and can be used in inertial cone crushers. Method consists in measurement of grinding head position and/or movement, based on said measurement gyro movement value is obtained, which is compared with gyro movement reference value. At that, on basis of comparison, whether to give warning signal about foreign material is defined, and based on gyro movement value position of foreign material in grinding chamber is determined. Inertial cone crusher contains external and internal crushing armors making grinding chamber. Inner crushing armor is maintained at crushing head attached with possibility of rotation to unbalanced bushing with unbalance weight. At that, crusher also has sensor for measuring grinding head position and/or movement, control device, made with possibility of obtaining gyro movement value and determining whether to give warning signal about foreign material according to above described method. For access into grinding chamber crusher comprises multiple hatches, each of which enables to remove any foreign material through it.
EFFECT: method and device to reduce probability of crusher damage and blocking.
