FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry. Disclosed is a method for functionalising graphene material, in which the graphene material is at least partially reacted with at least one silane having a structure Y-Si(OR1)(OR2)(OR3), where Y denotes an alkyl, olefinic or aromatic fragment, branched or unbranched, a combination of these fragments, an organic functional group selected from the following: carboxy group, carbonyl, hydroperoxycarbonyl, halogen, sulfo group, sulphine group, cyano group, formyl, oxo group, thiooxo group, hydroxy group, amino group, imino group, hydrazine group, epoxy group, sulfanyl, fluorine, a combination of these groups, or a combination of alkyl, olefin or aromatic fragment and said organic functional group; R1, R2, R3 denote alkyl, olefinic or aromatic fragments, branched or unbranched, which are identical or different in pairs. Reaction is carried out while mixing silane with graphene material. Weight fraction of at least one silane is in range from 5 to 50 wt.%, wherein the sum of weight fractions of silane (silanes) and graphene material is 100 wt.%. Also disclosed is a functionalised graphene material and use thereof.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables to obtain a product with improved flowability and dispersibility, high bulk density and reduces the amount of dust formed during processing thereof.
