FIELD: nanotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nanotechnology and mining and can be used when conducting drilling operations. In the method, the helical power section for hydraulic downhole motors contains a rotor and a stator containing a metallic outer tubular element and a graphene enhanced elastomeric inner lining including graphene particles homogeneously dispersed in rubber. Graphene particles can be nonfunctionalized or functionalized peroxide/oxygen and have a sheet thickness of from two to thirty graphene layers. Rubber is NBR, HNBR, XNBR, XHNBR or a fluoroelastomer base polymer. NBR, HNBR, XNBR or XHNBR has a viscosity at 100 °C from 20 to 75 Mooney units and contains from 25 to 65 % acrylonitrile. Fluoroelastomer base polymer has a viscosity at 100 °C from 20 to 100 Mooney units, carboxylic functionalized and contain from 25 to 65 % acrylonitrile.
EFFECT: reliability is ensured by increasing the stability of the stator to elevated temperatures, resistance to abrasion and tearing, increasing the time interval between failures and maintenance.
