FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed solution relates to power engineering, in particular to devices converting energy of working medium into mechanical and/or electrical energy, and can be used in electric power engineering, heat power engineering, in machine building, in automotive industry and other industries. Thermal power plant comprises a compressor connected to a pneumatic motor by means of output shafts by a common transmission, where this common gear interacts with the starter-generator to start the installation and take off the obtained power. Air motor outlet unit is connected along the first circuit of the pipeline to at least one air heat exchanger and then to the compressor inlet unit for transfer of the working medium cooled down to the street temperature and circulating in the first circuit of the pipeline. Compressor outlet unit is connected to at least one liquid heat exchanger along the first circuit of the pipeline, providing heating of the working medium circulating in the first circuit of the pipeline, and then connected to the air motor inlet assembly for the heated working medium transfer, for the pneumatic motor operation implementation. Liquid heat exchanger is configured to receive and transfer heat energy in the first circuit of the pipeline from the heat transfer fluid circulating along the second circuit of the pipeline, where heat energy is transferred from a heat source by means of a circulation pump.

EFFECT: simplified design of thermal power plant at its high efficiency.
