SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a heating structure configured to generate heat using surface plasmon resonance (SPR), for example, to an aerosol generating device comprising a heating structure. Disclosed is a heating structure configured to generate heat using surface plasmon resonance (SPR), which comprises a base, a plurality of metal particles arranged on the base and configured to generate heat using the SPR, and a separating wall located between adjacent metal particles. Separation wall comprises a plurality of protrusions, note here that plurality of ledges are spaced apart independently in first length direction of base and in second length direction intersecting first length direction. Invention also discloses an aerosol-generating device comprising a heating structure and a method of making the heating structure.
EFFECT: wider range of technical means of a heating structure for an aerosol-generating device.
