Aerosol generating device comprises a first housing and a second housing located in the first housing and configured to accommodate an aerosol generating article. Second housing comprises a first layer comprising a first rim and a plurality of first air flow paths formed in the first rim, wherein the first rim has a first perimeter and a first width, and a second layer. Second layer contains the second rim connected to the first rim, the second air flow path, the first lower part, the second lower part and the wall part connecting the first lower part and the second lower part. Second rim has a second perimeter and a second width. Second air flow path is formed in second rim, note here that second airflow path is communicated with several first airflow paths. First lower part is connected to second rim, note here that first lower part comprises several first airflow holes to allow airflows from second rim. Second lower part is spaced from the first lower part. Wherein the second lower part and part of the wall form a flowing space for air flows, part of the wall contains several second holes for air flow, which are made with possibility of passing air flows outside the second rim into the flow space.
