METHOD OF TRANSMITTING DIGITAL COMPRESSED IMAGES OVER DEEP SPACE COMMUNICATION CHANNELS WITH INTERFERENCE USING REPETITIONS, RECOVERY AND MINIMIZATION OF TIME FOR DISPLAYING CURRENT RECEIVED AMOUNT OF DATA Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC H04N19/65 H04B7/185 H04L43/823

Abstract RU 2821328 C1

FIELD: transmission of digital images.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transmission of digital compressed images over a noisy communication channel. This technical solution is intended for error-free transmission of digital compressed images over deep space communication channels with interference with minimization of time for displaying the current received amount of data, which is possible for display taking into account the operating threshold of the used compression algorithm by the number of bit errors. Ability of this method to work with any radio communication channels and digital image compression algorithms used therein provides wide "industrial applicability", which is also expanded by the possibility of implementing the proposed method on programmable logic integrated circuits (PLIC) or standard computers used to form a digital frame-by-frame stream of images.

EFFECT: high quality of transmitting digital compressed images over a communication channel with interference by eliminating transmission errors by duplicating and recovering data from information from repeatedly mistakenly received packets, as well as the possibility of visualizing the decompressed version of the image received at the current moment in time.
