FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical instrument making and relates to an optical device. Optical device has an optical axis and comprises at least one surface with at least two meridians, at least one part of which, when viewed from the front, forms at least one spiral segment, the central point of which is located on the optical axis. Each spiral segment defines meridians with different optical power so that the obtained focus is distributed along the tubular area.
EFFECT: increased length of the focal region.
