FIELD: foundry.

SUBSTANCE: method of making moulds for casting cooled turbine blades includes making and preparing ceramic rods (3), production of consumable pattern (1) with at least one ceramic rod with signs placed in it, preparation of the pattern, including gaps of one of the rod signs, assembly of the pattern block and layer-by-layer application of a ceramic shell on it, removal of the wax pattern block and annealing of the mould. During preparation, metal foals (4) are installed in the pattern along the normal to the profile of its feather from the side of back (6) and from the side of trough (5) until contact with the rod. Foals are set with their free ends protruding from pattern by 0.6–0.75 of the foal length.

EFFECT: reduced rejects in geometry of turbine blades due to elimination of warping and breakage of rod at its expansion in mould during its heating.
