FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: method of making castings with a fine-grained homogeneous structure includes making models of turbine blades, assembling a model unit, layer-by-layer production of a casting ceramic mould, melting a model unit, preliminary calcination, heat insulation of the mould with a flexible refractory heat-insulating material, installation of a ceramic foam filter into the metal receiving bowl, heating the mould for pouring, pouring the mould with a continuous jet in a vacuum melting and casting unit, crystallisation in vacuum to temperature of 0.92-0.95 liquidus and cooling in air. Composition of the front layer of mould contains 4.0-12.0 wt. % of surface modifier – cobalt aluminate. Preliminary calcination is carried out in a chamber electric furnace for 3-4 hours at 740-750 °C. For casting, the mould is heated in a chamber electric furnace to a liquidus temperature of 0.88-0.90 for at least 6 hours.
EFFECT: obtaining blades with fine-grained homogeneous structure, which increases their endurance, increases output of suitable casts due to reduced rejects on structure, blockages and defects of shrinkage origin.
