SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, in particular to confectionary branch, and can be used in production of chocolate mass and chocolate. Disclosed is a composition for preparation of chocolate mass and chocolate containing Garcinia cambogia extract and food fibres. Said composition contains the following, wt.%: ground cocoa 39.0–40.0; cocoa butter 13.0–16.0; soya phosphatide concentrate lecithin 0.3–0.6; flavouring agent 0.1–0.2; beetroot powder 0.5–1.0; Garcinia cambogia fruit extract powder 0.16–0.5; sugar powder – balance.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at creation of chocolate masses and chocolate of increased nutritive value due to introduction of beetroot powder containing food fibres and extract of Garcinia cambogia into the product composition.
