FIELD: traffic control means.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical means of organizing traffic during the operation of highways. LED road sign consists of road sign body, formed by interconnected frame of front and rear panels, light indication elements, controller and associated data transmission device, light indication elements, which are installed on printed circuit boards. Polycarbonate dielectric panel is installed between the front and rear panels. Controller is a printed circuit board with a microcontroller containing algorithms for operating modes of printed circuit boards with light-emitting diodes, an illumination sensor, a Wi-Fi module and control buttons. Controller is made with possibility of automatic control of LEDs brightness modes and establishment of wireless communication with controllers of other LED road signs.
EFFECT: increased recognition of LED road sign and range of its perception with possibility to control power consumption, longer service life of the product and possibility of combining operation of several similar symbols into a closed information network.
