FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method for reassembly (disassembly and assembly) of a bacteriophage capsid, including bacteriophage MS2, including a recombinant one. Method involves two steps: disassembly of a capsid of a natural or recombinant bacteriophage, and then assembly with various toxic ions and compounds thereof, for example, boron-10 isotope and without them. Thus, the technical result of the claimed invention consists in purification of a preparation of a virus-like bacteriophage particle (VLP) from bacteriophage RNA in order to obtain low non-specific immunogenicity. Also, the technical result consists in the boron-10 isotope packing control, method enables to overcome the barrier of the minimum concentration of the boron-10 isotope when producing the substance of the preparation, which is important when using radioactive isotopes in virus-like particles. Disclosed method enables to obtain recombinant bacteriophage VLP.
EFFECT: invention enables to use bacteriophages as an effective means of delivering, in particular, boron-10 isotope and peptides to a recipient's body.
