FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems simulating the tobacco smoking process. Aerosol generation system includes an aerosol generation device comprising a first accommodation space formed therein, comprising a current collector and an article for generating an aerosol inserted therein. Support has a second space formed in it for placement, in which the aerosol generation device is placed. Aerosol generation device comprises an accumulator charged with energy received from a support, when the aerosol generating device is placed in the second accommodation space. Induction coil is configured to generate a magnetic field in the first arrangement space by obtaining energy from the accumulator. Controller is electrically connected to induction coil and is configured to measure amplitude of voltage applied to induction coil. If the measured voltage amplitude is less than or equal to the preset value, the article for generating the aerosol is introduced into the first placement space. If the article for aerosol generation is introduced into the first accommodation space, the controller performs heating of the current collector by controlling the induction coil for generation of the magnetic field.

EFFECT: possibility of detecting the introduction of a cigarette into the device using an induction coil and controlling the heating stage based on recognition.
