FIELD: tea industry; measurement.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method for determining water-soluble extractive substances of tea, involving preparation of containers, consisting in drying to establish their weight, weighing a tea sample, obtaining tea extract, its filtration, sampling and drying in prepared containers, cooling, weighing and evaluation of results by formula. At the same time, drinking water with temperature of 95–100 °C in amount of 100 cm3 per 1 g of tea is used for obtaining tea extract, extraction is carried out in a water bath for 5–7 minutes at a water temperature of 100±2 °C with subsequent filtration and bringing volume of obtained extract sample to 100 cm3 with washing water, further, a sample is taken from the extract sample in accordance with the volume of the drying containers, which are porcelain evaporation cups with capacity of 25 cm3, drying of cups with samples is carried out at temperature of 135 °C for 150–180 minutes, followed by cooling for 20–30 minutes, weighing and evaluating the results.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase accuracy of determination results, to reduce labour and time expenditures, to refuse use of specific equipment.
