SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Visual acuity is examined before treatment and on 30th day after it; visual acuity is examined using an infrared videonystagmography apparatus. Additionally, measurement is performed on 7th post-treatment day, and if the total visual acuity increase is higher than 0.02, the treatment is considered to be effective.
EFFECT: method provides an advantage in the accuracy of the study, and therefore in a higher accuracy of evaluating the effectiveness of treating macular oedema.
