FIELD: anticorrosion protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for maximum safe operation, increase in the main pipelines electrochemical protection system operational reliability in conditions of stray currents, as well as an experimental and training model. Proposed method makes it possible to carry out works on research of anticorrosion protection equipment, evaluation of corrosion processes and the effect of stray currents on the corrosive state of the section of the underground pipeline; training personnel operating the electrochemical protection system in conditions as close as possible to real ones, and enables to fully simulate operation of a full-size installation of drainage protection.
EFFECT: development of method for creation of artificial stray current and potential of complex shape for section of underground pipeline using an automated computer-controlled simulator for research and training on a full-size experimental and training model of the installation of drainage protection of an electrochemical protection ground.
