FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a detergent composition. Detergent composition based on sulphate-free surfactants contains in an aqueous dispersion medium: total amount of anionic surfactant and an amphoteric surfactant composed of: (i) 3–13 wt.% alpha-olefin sulphonate anionic surfactant of general formula R1-CH=CH-CH2-SO3−M+, where R1 is selected from linear or branched alkyl groups containing from 11 to 13 carbon atoms, and mixtures thereof; and M is a solubilising cation; (ii) 1–8 wt.% amphoteric surfactant, which is cocamidopropyl betaine; (iii) 0.05–0.5 wt.% of cationic polymer; (iv) 0.3–2.8 wt.% of inorganic electrolyte; as well as (v) water; wherein the weight ratio of (i) to (ii) is in range from 2:1 to 1:4, the pH of the composition is from 3 to 6.5; composition has viscosity from 2,500 to 25,000 mPa⋅c. Also disclosed is a method of treating hair, scalp, or body.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides good foaming, cleansing, easier combing of hair in a wet state and the required rheological properties while maintaining a mild effect on skin and hair protein.
