SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of processing an encoded audio scene representing a sound field associated with a virtual position of a listener. Encoded audio scene contains information on the transport signal and the first set of parameters associated with the virtual position of the listener. First set of parameters is converted to a second set of parameters associated with channel representation, containing two or more channels for reproduction in given spatial positions for two or more channels. Processed audio scene is formed using a second set of parameters and information on the transport signal.

EFFECT: high efficiency of processing an encoded audio scene.
