FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and food industry and is intended for mechanization of the process of sprouting grain for vitamin fodder for animals, birds and for vitamin supplement for human food. Plant for sprouting grain consists of a water tank, to the lower part of which a pump is connected, and a temperature sensor is located inside. In order to supply air into water, a bubbler is provided inside the water tank. Above the water tank there is a lower germination tank and an upper germination tank. Water supply pipeline is connected to the upper part of the lower germination tank and to the upper part of the upper germination tank by means of taps. Mechanical cleaning filter is located on the pipeline. Drain pipeline is connected to the lower part of the upper germination tank and to the lower part of the lower germination tank by means of taps. Mechanical cleaning filter is installed in the lower part of the drain pipeline. Inside germination tanks there are supports on which perforated trays with handles are installed. On the frame above the upper germination tank and above the lower germination tank there are fixtures for lamps, on which lighting lamps and ultraviolet lamps of spectrum C are mounted. Lamps are combined by three into a luminaire. In each luminaire there is one lamp emitting blue spectrum, one lamp emitting red spectrum, and one lamp emitting ultraviolet spectrum C.

EFFECT: invention provides mechanization of grain sprouting process due to illumination and supply of water to grain, increased output of germinated grain due to arrangement of containers in vertical direction, reduction of operating costs due to reuse of water, reduction of costs for moistening of grain due to moistening of grain by flooding, disinfection of water due to irradiation with ultraviolet light of spectrum C.
