FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotorcraft transmissions. Rotorcraft with electromechanical stepless variable transmission comprises gas turbine engine (1), which includes output shaft (2) kinematically connected to free turbine (3), starter drive (4) kinematically connected to compressor shaft (5), rotor (7), transmission (8). Input shaft (14) is kinematically connected to output shaft (2) of gas turbine engine (1). Output shaft of transmission (15) is connected to rotor (7). Gear differential (16) comprises first (18), second (19) and third (20) links. First link of gear differential (18) is connected to input shaft of transmission (14), second link of gear differential (19) is connected to output shaft of transmission (15). Electric system (9) includes storage battery (10), first reversible electric machine (11), which is kinematically connected to the third link of gear differential (20), and the second reversible electric machine (12).
EFFECT: balanced power generation and consumption.
