FIELD: aviation; physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to use of unmanned aerial vehicles. Essence of the method of observing an object with an unmanned surveillance system is as follows. Coordinates of observation area location are determined by means of observation on unmanned aerial vehicle (OMUAV) – carrier of suspended OMUAV of smaller class. OMUAV is launched through control centre (CC) and required area is observed by onboard surveillance means. OMUAV stream of images frames is transmitted with coordinate referencing of each frame to coordinates of each section of the region through the CC to the consumer, processing a stream of frames in order to search for an observation object, determining coordinates of the object and transmitting the obtained values to the CC. CC then assigns the suspended OMUAV to the detected object, using the coordinates of the location of the object, generates and transmits the flight parameters to the suspended OMUAV. OMUAV launches from board a suspended OMUAV, which performs a flight to the area of loitering, further observation of the object taking into account the limit time of loitering and transmitting a stream of frames of images of the detected object through the CC to the consumer.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of OMUAV operation.
