FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in using connecting devices, which has at one end a plane and a recess for attachment to a flange attachment of an electric motor of a flange design and holes for a bolt connection, at the other end there is a plane with a recess and lugs for attachment with pins to the existing installation places of the electric motor bearing shield with execution on legs, on side surface there is an inspection window for mounting, assembly, lubrication and adjustment of connecting half-couplings of electric motors shafts, as well as support plane with holes for bolted connection with electric motor frame with design on legs.
EFFECT: reduced number of elements, simplified design, reduced weight and dimensions, availability of protection against contact with moving parts of electric motors, ensuring alignment of shafts of electric motors with specified accuracy during manufacture of connecting device, reduction of dynamic loads caused by misalignment of motor shafts and reduction of installation works performance time.
