FIELD: optical instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: technical solution relates to optical instrument making and can be used in laser projectors and colour laser printing, in biomedical diagnostics and treatment (flow cytometry and photodynamic therapy, respectively), as well as for analytical measurements (Raman spectroscopy and confocal microscopy) and in a number of other applications requiring the use of fibre lasers with optical frequency doubling and tripling, which generate radiation in the visible and ultraviolet regions of the spectrum. Technical solution combines the function of a reflector and a high-quality resonator. Possibility of selective reflection back of eigen modes of the high-quality resonator also appears without introduction of additional elements, if a linear resonator with oblique incidence on the input mirror is used. In addition, the technical solution proposes to combine radiation of the second harmonic beams generated when the nonlinear crystal passes in one and the opposite direction, increasing the second harmonic generation power due to coherent addition processes.
EFFECT: increased power of generation of the second and third harmonics.
