SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used to determine the exposure time of platelet-rich blood plasma on the rupture area in the surgical treatment of macular retinal ruptures with the preoperative application of the global test for assessing the state of haemostasis. In the preoperative period, the time of clot formation with thickness of not less than 300 mcm is determined in the patient with the help of the global test Thrombodynamics. Then, platelet-rich blood autoplasma in amount of not less than 50 mcl is applied intraoperatively on the retinal rupture area. Time of its exposure on the rupture area is equal to the time of clot formation with thickness of not less than 300 mcm, according to the Thrombodynamics preoperative test data.

EFFECT: invention provides the preoperative determination of the platelet-rich blood plasma exposure time to the rupture area, which is sufficient for the formation of a full-fledged fibrin film, stable blocking of the macular rupture of the retina, high functional result of treatment, minimal risks of non-closing or unblocking of rupture in postoperative period, absence of recurrences of disease and necessity of repeated treatment.
