FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, namely to elements of a coaxial path, and can be used in coaxial, antenna and microwave measuring equipment. Disclosed is a coaxial directional coupler consisting of four sections of supplying coaxial lines of rectangular section 1 and located in the common external conductor of rectangular shape 2 area of connected coaxial lines of rectangular cross-section formed by sections of connected internal conductors of rectangular cross-section 3 and additional sections of connected internal conductors of rectangular cross-section 4 located on connected internal conductors of rectangular cross-section 3 symmetrically relative to their centre. New is introduction of additional sections of connected internal conductors of rectangular cross-section, wherein total length of sections of connected internal conductors of rectangular cross-section and additional sections of connected internal conductors of rectangular cross-section is (0.2÷0.3)λcom, where λcom is the wavelength of the communication region of the coaxial lines at the central frequency.

EFFECT: wider operating frequency band with possibility of operation at high power level of the channelized microwave signal.
