SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to shutoff valve (1) for installation in pipeline (50), in particular in pipeline of nuclear facility, such as nuclear power plant, or in a conventional chemical reactor and at a conventional power plant, to stop the flow of fluid through pipeline (50) in case of an accident. Valve (1) comprises valve body (3) including flow channel (5) passing through valve body (3), closing element (10) located at least partially in flow channel (5) and reversibly transferred between open position and closed position for opening or closing of flow channel (5) through valve body (3), actuator (20) with a non-electric drive, functionally connected to closing element (10), for moving closing element (10) from an open position to a closed position, wherein actuator (20) is actuated by fluid flow through flow channel (5) to achieve or exceed switching temperature and/or flow rate during operation, and position indicator (30, 34) for indicating whether closing element (10) is in open position or in closed position. Position indicator (30, 34) comprises at least one indicator element (31, 32) located in or on valve body (3) with possibility of movement between a first position and a second position, wherein indicator element (31, 32) is connected by magnetic action to closing element (10) directly by direct magnetic interaction between at least part of closing element and at least part of indicator element or indirectly by connecting element, rigidly connected to at least one of the closing element or indicator element, which interacts under the action of the magnetic field with the corresponding other element or other connecting element, which is rigidly connected to the corresponding other element, so that indicator element (31, 32) under action of magnetic field moves to the first position when closing element (10) is transferred to open position, and to the second position when closing element (10) is transferred to closed position.
EFFECT: disclosed is a shut-off valve for installation in a pipeline, in particular in a pipeline of a nuclear facility.
