FIELD: means for fixing and connecting long elements.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in construction, machine building, furniture industry, etc. Device comprises a detachable housing in which there are three through cavities dividing it into two halves of the same shape and size, longitudinal axes of which are non-intersecting, and outer edges of cavities form curvilinear convex jaws on surface of halves of the body for partial coverage of connected elements. Central part of each half of the detachable housing has a through round hole in the center for a fastening element, which is located between the curvilinear jaws, angle between longitudinal axis of which and longitudinal axes of each cavity is 20–60°. Each of the jaws is made up of an arched metal plate with its convexity facing outwards and two thick metal rods of round cross-section, which are framing it on both external sides. Plate has a thickness which is twice less than the thickness of the bar. and is chamfered on one side from its edge facing the through hole at angle of 45° to form a rectilinear section on its other edge in a quarter of the width of the plate. Bar is bent in such a way that one of its parts on the side extending downward to the outside has the form of a part of a circular arc, smoothly conjugated at the other end with a straight section of the bar located with it in the same plane, having in its lower part an arched bend in the plane perpendicular to its first part, conjugated with the first part of the bar with a noticeable kink in the form of an annular rib at an obtuse angle to the inner end of the first part of the bar with formation on one side of the bar by its part in the form of a circular arc and on its other side by its arc-shaped bend in combination with arc-shaped plate between them of profile for one of connected long elements. In both halves of the housing, the through hole for the connecting element in their central part is framed by a part projecting outward in the form of a hexagonal nut, permanently attached from above to cylindrical bushing, smooth inside in one half of the body and having an internal thread in the other half of the body. In both halves of the housing, a curved arc-shaped plate is attached to the bushings by the initial section of the beveled surface with the formation between the opposite chamfered sections of the edge of the arched plate and parts of its arched surface, as well as inner sides of three arc-shaped rods and parts of cylindrical bushing of three through holes in form of oblique-angled trapezoids, separated from through round hole by thickness of bushing with nut.
EFFECT: simplification of manufacturing and assembly technology at reduction of metal consumption of the device.
