SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of analysing signals of a laser range finder mounted on a self-propelled agricultural machine. Essence of the proposed method of analysing signals of a laser range finder is as follows. Laser range finder performs measurements cyclically and outputs several measurement points representing distances in several directions. Each measurement point is correlated with an angle in the horizontal plane, then the obtained measurement points are divided into useful and spurious signals based on the distance criterion. Measurement points at a distance less than the first limit value are identified as spurious signals, and measurement points at a distance greater than the first limit value are identified as useful signals.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of laser range finder of a self-propelled agricultural machine.
