FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, for measuring distance to various objects. Laser rangefinder includes driving oscillator with synchronization device, which generates continuous series of pseudorandom sequences in form of electric pulses transmitted to laser radiation source, after which the beam splitting cube generates reference and operating optical signals, where the operating signal propagates along the transmission channel through the optical splitter, optical fiber and the fiber-optic collimator, reaches the analyzed object and returns back through the optical splitter into the receiving channel, consisting of one radiation receiver, while the reference signal passes through the optical delay line, second radiation receiver, digital delay line is supplied together with reception channel signal to correlation data processing unit, after which current distance to analyzed object is calculated.

EFFECT: preservation of dynamic range of laser range finder with improvement of measurement accuracy.
