FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of cutting sheet material. Device for cutting sheet material comprises a base on which a body with a cutting tool is fixed, and a bar with a guide surface. At least two axes are fixed on the base, they are arranged in the plane parallel to the direction of movement during cutting and to the guide surface of the plank. At that, annular magnet is installed on each axis with possibility of rotation and interaction of rolling surface with guide surface of plank, at least one part of which is made of material with magnetic properties.
EFFECT: simplified design of the device for cutting sheet material with improved performance characteristics, providing a smooth and clean cut surface.
