FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to satellite multibeam hybrid reflector antennas (HRA), and is a method for monitoring-reconstruction of the surface of the reflector of a large-size HRA subject to distortions. Result is achieved by the fact that disclosed is a method for controlling-reconstruction of a large-size hybrid mirror antenna (HRA) subject to distortions, including irradiation of HRA, the reflector of which in the nominal state is a paraboloid of rotation, a narrow-band signal from a remote source with known angular coordinates, extraction of complex amplitudes of signals received by elements of antenna array (AA), calculation of complex amplitudes of field at points of nominal reflector, characterized by that the field at points of the nominal reflector is recalculated in the field on the aperture plane perpendicular to the direction of the remote source with known angular coordinates.
EFFECT: reduced load on processor of control system.
