SUBSTANCE: invention relates to articulated freight cars. Freight car articulated joint comprises centre plate part (1) and drive part (2) articulated by mounting pin (3), which is passed through guide holes (1.3), (1.4) of centre plate part (1) and hole (2.3) of driving part (2). Guide hole (1.3) is made in the central part of the upper removable shelf (1.7), which by its ends is fixed in mounting sockets (4) on support platform (4.1). For uniform distribution of internal stresses, transverse thrust walls (4.3) are placed at the level "S - S" of upper flange (1.1.1) of mounting end (1.1) of centre plate (1).

EFFECT: as a result, the operational efficiency is increased, namely, the repairability and operational reliability of the articulated joint of freight cars.
