SUBSTANCE: biodegradable nonwoven material according to the present invention contains fibers containing a biodegradable thermoplastic resin, and is characterized by that the base weight of material is 10–450 g/m2, difference between melting point and crystallisation start temperature of nonwoven material is not less than 91 °C, and enthalpy of cold crystallisation ΔH of nonwoven material is not less than 1.0 J/g.
EFFECT: present invention proposes: spunbod biodegradable nonwoven material, which has excellent properties of uniform formability and formability (obtaining a neat molded article in a shorter time without tearing, pile or stretching), and which has favorable dimensional stability after molding; as well as a molded article production method.
