SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol generation device. Aerosol generating device comprises a housing, a heater located in the housing and configured to generate heat, a support located in the housing and comprising a cavity for accommodating an aerosol generating article, a rib made on the inner surface of the support and extending along the circumferential direction of the cavity so that the outer peripheral surface of the aerosol-generating article enclosed in the cavity is surrounded and in contact with the rib, and the incoming air between the cavity and the aerosol generating article is blocked by the rib, and an air flow channel made between the housing and the support and allowing air to pass into the cavity.
EFFECT: enabling the possibility of blocking the direct air flow between the aerosol-generating article and the cavity into which the article is inserted.
