FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the tobacco industry, in particular to systems imitating the tobacco smoking process. Heating assembly for an aerosol-generating device includes a housing comprising a space for accommodating an aerosol-generating article. Current collector is configured to surround the aerosol-generating article placed in the accommodation space and configured to heat the aerosol-generating article. Coil is configured to surround current collector on housing side, and is configured to generate magnetic field for heating of current collector. Support supports heater. Holder comprises a hole through which the aerosol-generating article is inserted, and a projection protruding in the direction of the hole and supporting the aerosol-generating article. Shielding part is located inside the housing and surrounds the coil for shielding of magnetic field generated by the coil. Insulating element is placed between the current collector and the housing and is configured to prevent the heat generated by the coil from being removed to the outside. Disclosed is an aerosol generating device comprising a disclosed heating assembly, a battery configured to supply power to the heating assembly, and a controller configured to control operation of the heating assembly.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption for heating due to higher thermal insulation.
