SUBSTANCE: device comprises a housing comprising a first chamber in which an article for generating an aerosol is inserted, a second chamber located at a distance from the first chamber, an air channel between the first chamber and the second chamber, a pressure sensor configured to recognize pressure in a second chamber, a processor configured to receive pressure measurement data from a pressure sensor, recognizing a change in pressure within the second chamber based on the pressure measurement data and outputting a notification on the user's puffing operation if the pressure change inside the second chamber is greater than or equal to a predetermined value.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of control and ease of use, prevention of malfunction or damage to the sensor and device components.
