FIELD: forestry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to timber industry, in particular to devices for wood chopping at thinning in young stands. Device includes a housing, a cutting element, comprises a frame, in upper part of which on platform of rectangular shape with the help of clamps is fixed gasoline saw connected by means of blocks and belt transmission with saw disks installed on shaft in lower part of frame. Free end of the frame is pivotally mounted on a support consisting of sides, between which the plates are rigidly fixed parallel to each other, wherein the saw discs enter the space between them during operation, and on the free end of the stop there is a foot stop with a conical rod to prevent the device from shifting during operation. Middle of the frame of the device is connected to the blade stop by means of a spring.
EFFECT: design of the device is simplified, and ease of operation is ensured when performing the technological process.
