SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder for annealing separator and to a method of making a sheet from textured electrical steel using said powder. Powder used as annealing separator contains magnesium oxide as the main component and B: 0.020 wt.% or more and 0.200 wt.% or less, SO₃: 0.030 wt.% or more and 2.000 wt.% or less, and P₂O₃: 0.050 wt.% or more and 1.000 wt.% or less; and contains 0.2 wt.% or more and 5.0 wt.% or less particles having a size of more than 45 mcm and 75 mcm or less. Particles of this size contain (boron) B: 0.002 wt.% or more and less than 0.020 wt.%, SO₃: less than 0.030 wt.% and P₂O₃: less than 0.050 wt.%.

EFFECT: possibility of making a sheet from textured electrical steel with suitable uniformity of coating and magnetic properties.
