FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalysts based on platinum group metals. Disclosed is a catalyst for heterogeneous reactions, including cleaning gases from hydrocarbons, carbon oxide, nitrogen oxides, isomerisation of paraffins, hydrogenation of hydrocarbons, dehydrogenation of propane, which includes one or more platinum group metals, modifying compounds, a carrier in the form of aluminum oxide. As aluminum oxide precursor, alpha-aluminum oxide powder is used, consisting of particles with size of 40–250 mcm of rounded shape, particles have a specific surface area of not less than 100 m2/g, the catalyst additionally contains one or more modifying compounds of elements selected from the group: sodium, potassium, magnesium, manganese, titanium, zinc, tin, silicon, chlorine, and the catalyst has the following composition, wt.%: one or more platinum group metals—0.05–3.0; one or more modifying compounds—0.01–10.0; aluminum oxide—balance.
EFFECT: resistance of catalysts based on platinum group metals on the proposed aluminum oxide carriers to deactivation by water vapor; catalysts have high hydrothermal stability.
