FIELD: furniture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hinge (4) for a piece of furniture or household appliance, comprising: first hinge part (5) and second hinge part (6), which are connected to each other by means of a lever mechanism having seven articulation axes (7) and levers (8) hinged to them; wherein first hinge part (5) comprises first partition (51) and second hinge part comprises second partition (61), which are substantially parallel and spaced apart in closed position of hinge (4); and closing member (10) at least partially covering the lever mechanism on at least three sides to prevent engagement between levers (8) of the lever mechanism; plurality of closing plates (11, 12, 13) are provided, made integral with closing element (10), and closing plates (11, 12, 13), located on one side of the lever mechanism, are made with possibility of turning relative to each other with partial overlapping at rotation of hinge (4).
EFFECT: preventing the possibility of access to the lever mechanism.
