SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Device for protecting a tool tip comprising an elongated rod having a distal tip having an end surface. Device for tip protection comprises enclosing part, first gripping element and second gripping element, first connecting element and second connecting element and locking device. Protective part is made with possibility of interaction with said tip and has support surface made with possibility of contact with tip so that section of enclosing part passes distally relative to said end surface. Protective part is configured to prevent contact between enclosing part and central part of end surface. Gripping elements are configured to grip part of the tool rod at a distance from the end surface. First gripping element passes from the end of the first connecting element. Second gripping element passes from the end of the second connecting element. First and second connecting elements are movable relative to each other between a first disconnected position, in which said tool tip can be inserted into device for protection of tip and removed from it, and second retaining position, in which gripping elements contact with core tool and grip it. First and second connecting elements are shifted to the first position. Locking means is configured to retain first and second connecting elements in a second position. Endoscope assembly comprises the above tip protection device and an endoscope comprising an elongated rod having a tip. Said tip comprises end surface. Device for tip protection is in interaction with endoscope tip.

EFFECT: inventions provide prevention of creation of nutrient medium for microorganisms, which can contaminate endoscope and possibility of drying and ventilation of endoscope tip during cleaning and storage.
