FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of cleaning internal surface of pipelines from deposits of paraffins, asphaltenes, resins and hydrates and can be used in oil and gas industry. Method includes lowering and lifting on a flexible traction inside a suspended scraper pipeline, equipped with a heating element for heating deposits in the scraper zone to a fluid or liquid state. A chemically active substance is used as a heating element, which is placed in the scraper cavity, which is perforated mainly in the front and tail parts, with a compartment for collecting poorly soluble products of the exothermic reaction and which in the course of exothermic reaction with in-pipe liquid creates a high-temperature thermal field, which heats the scraper cutting blades.
EFFECT: reduced losses of consumed energy for heating of deposits, providing heating intensity and reliability.
