FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to X-ray diagnostics, nephrology, urology, surgery, resuscitation, and can be used for early diagnosis of paranephritis. Magnetic resonance imaging of paranephric fat and kidneys is performed in diffusion-weighted image mode to obtain a measured diffusion coefficient (MDC). Calculating the measured diagnostic diffusion coefficient ΔD=Dp/Dk, where Dp is MDC in paranephric fat, Dk is MDC in renal parenchyma. At ΔD≤0.9 indicates paranephritis, with ΔD≥1 on absence of paranephritis.

EFFECT: method provides non-invasive timely determination of development of paranephritis due to determination of diagnostic coefficient of diffusion.
