FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Needling is performed in case of cicatrisation of filtering bleb (FB) after antiglaucoma operations. Into an insulin syringe with 27G needle, 1 ml of sterile air is collected, then under local epibulbar anaesthesia – triple instillation of 0.4% oxybuprocaine solution (Inocaine), under the control of a slit lamp, 27G needle is transconjunctivally advanced in parallel to the limb towards the centre of the FB with simultaneous air supply. Needle tip is used to mechanically separate the adhesions under the action of the injected air pressure.

EFFECT: method enables to separate the adhesions, which in turn restores the intraocular fluid outflow tract and stabilizes the IOP level, reduces the number of interventions in the future, reduce risk of haemorrhages, mechanical damage of conjunctiva and occurrence of external filtration during separation of cicatrical tissues, reducing the risk of hypotension and related complications by increasing the pressure gradient in the subconjunctival space, as well as eliminating the probability of developing allergic reactions.
