SUBSTANCE: paralimbal incision of conjunctiva is performed with the help of scissors, followed by laser coagulation of vasculature of sclera in place of superficial flap formation. Further, a superficial scleral flap (SSF) sized 3 by 3 mm is formed using a disposable dissecting knife MANI with an upper edge, 2.0 mm. A dissecting knife is used to form a deep scleral flap (DSF) 1 mm from corneal limbus measuring 1.5 by 1.5 mm, starting from the lower edge of the SSF. During separation, a peripheral portion of the corneal tissue and an external wall of the Schlemm's canal are removed in a single block, and its cavity is opened. Further, the HealaFlow drainage is introduced, the glaucoma surgery area is covered with a superficial scleral flap, an absorbable drainage implant 0.1–0.2 ml HealaFlow is introduced under the SSF, 1 interrupted suture 8-0 VICRYL is applied on a conjunctiva, with 6 mm needle in 1 mm from corneal limbus. Before the conjunctiva incision, lidocaine solution 2% 0.2 ml and haemoblock 0.1 ml in the form of a papule are introduced subconjunctivally in the area of the planned glaucoma surgery for 2 minutes.

EFFECT: method enables providing long-term anesthetic and haemostatic effects that promotes reduction of cicatrisation in the area of glaucoma surgery and, as a result, prolongation of the hypotensive effect of the operation.
