SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an installation and a method for processing valuable documents. Installation comprises a transport device for holders of valuable documents, which forms a cyclically circulating transport loop for holders of valuable documents. Installation also comprises at least one checking device for checking valuable documents, connected to the transport device with the possibility of moving the stack of valuable documents, if necessary, together with its holder, by means of a corresponding transport interface from the cyclically circulating transport loop to the corresponding checking device and/or from the corresponding checking device to the cyclic circulating transport loop.
EFFECT: cyclically circulating transport loop is made closed so that holders of valuable documents can repeatedly turn along it in one circulation direction, which provides the possibility of flexible extraction of the corresponding pile of valuable documents.
