FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, namely to means of preventing and control of icing of wind turbine (WT) blades. External surface of the blade is connected to the internal volume of the blade. Formation of excess pressure is provided in the internal volume by the method of pulse supply of air flow with the help of external compressor and electromagnetic valve. Part of the blade body, which is most susceptible to icing, is made with perforations providing formation of an air layer around the outer surface of the blade. Fluoroplastic nonwoven material is fixed on said perforated parts to prevent fixation of atmospheric moisture and its freezing. Frequency of pulses, period of air accumulation and duration of its supply into internal volume of wind turbine blade is set by external control module.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of wind turbine due to improved aerodynamic characteristics of the blade.
