FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seismic prospecting of oil and gas deposits and can be used in research in transition (transit) zones. Disclosed method involves well drilling and immersion into well of seismic excitation pneumatic source controller arranged inside screw drill rod. Pneumatic source in prepared well is supplied by means of presser rod with maximum pressure force on rod of up to 3,000 kgf (controlled). At that, pneumatic source is directly fixed on presser rod. Also disclosed is device containing amphibious vehicle, drilling screw installation and pneumatic source. Drilling screw-type unit represents single structure with unit of presser pneumatic source arranged on carriage on moving base.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities in operation and maintenance of device, as well as speed, quality and ecological safety of seismic investigations in zones, previously not available for any seismic exploration.
